After another large draft class of 11 players, Green Bay Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst went light on his collection of undrafted rookie free agents signed after the weekend draft. 8 more players have been added to the 2024 roster including the Wisconsin Badgers long snapper, Peter Bowden. The Packers also added a national champion offensive lineman. Trente Jones started at right tackle in the Michigan Wolverines title game. A second offensive lineman, Donovan Jennings of South Florida was also signed. A position that was left alone draft weekend picked up two new players in defensive linemen James Ester of Northern Illinois and Rodney Matthews of Ohio University. Another linebacker was brought aboard in Ralen Goforth of Washington. Green Bay also signed Arizona State tight end Messiah Swinson and added one more running back, Jarveon Howard from Alcorn State. The team’s off-season program will wrap up it’s strength and conditioning phase this week and move to on field work before organized team activities take place later this month.
