Damian Lillard put on a spectacular show as the Milwaukee Bucks rolled the Indiana Pacers 109-94 to open up the NBA playoffs at Fiserv Forum Sunday night. The Bucks roared out to a 69-42 halftime lead with Lillard nearly outscoring the Pacers by himself, putting up 35 points in the first half. He was unstoppable driving to the rim or raining in three’s. Lillard missed all 5 of his second half shots but Khris Middleton picked up the slack with 23 points to go along with 10 rebounds and Bobby Portis put up another double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. The Bucks played the series opener without Giannis Antetokounmpo who is still dealing with a calf strain but the defense locked up the high scoring Pacers except for Pascal Siakam who led Indiana with 36. In his first career playoff game, Oshkosh North’s Tyrese Haliburton managed only 9. Game two of the series tips off at 7:30 PM Tuesday night in Milwaukee.
